Hailey's Story

Hailey Holder Allen (H2) was diagnosed with cancer on May 16th, 2019. Her fight began with a biopsy turned surgery in which doctors removed a large malignant tumor from her left thigh. Doctors have diagnosed her specific condition as stage IV Aveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.

Over the first year of treatment, H2 endured 56 weeks of inpatient chemotherapy, radiation at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. After finishing frontline treatment, H2 completed an additional year on a daily oral maintenance dose of chemo and biweekly infusions. She relapsed with a tumor in her calf in July 2021. She underwent 6 months of chemo, 4 weeks of daily radiation and surgery. In January this year she spent three weeks inpatient and in ICU for extreme bone marrow suppression that led to sepsis. We almost lost her. Due to the extreme toll treatment had taken on her bottom, all treatment was stopped in order to give her body a chance to heal.

After 4.5 months of living her best life and enjoying life without chemo for the first time ever, Hailey Holder relapsed again. This time in her left thigh. We are devastated but are prepared to fight again.
