Leavyn's Story

Leavyn was a surprise baby for us. She has been everything we never knew we needed. From the moment she was born she has been full of joy. She was a very obedient and laid back baby/toddler. So when she began to have melt downs and complain of not feeling well frequently we knew something was not right. We took her to the doctor which led us to blood tests and ultimately her diagnosis.

At the age of 2, on October 30, 2019, Leavyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She went through countless port and spinal (LP) chemo therapies as well as intramuscular injections, oral chemos, steroid and antibiotics. She lost all of her hair about 9 months into treatment. She has handled it all with grace and strength. She loves to sing to Jesus and has even told me that angels follow her. I believe it.

Leavyn took her last chemo pills on January 3rd, 2022. We are scheduled to ring the bell soon. We are so thankful for those who have loved and supported us throughout this journey. Thank you for giving a precious quilt for our little Braveheart.
"Leavyn absolutely loves her quilt. Thank you so much. And thanks again for all you do for these babies."
