Oliver's Journey

Oliver is 4 years old. In July we noticed minimal bruising, and a distended abdomen. We scheduled an appointment with his pediatrician. On the morning of his appointment he woke up with petechiae bruising. As his parents, we already knew something serious was wrong as we are both in the medical profession. It didn't take long to receive the results and our pediatrician had us wait in her office. We were transferred to a children's hospital in Dallas. At 0300 on 07.30.2024 an oncologist sat in an ER room and spoke the words "your son has cancer." Our world forever changed. We have 6 children. Oliver is #5 in age.
