Willow's Story
Toward the end of March 2020 Willow was complaining about knee pain. We took her to the doctor to be checked. The doctor ordered blood work and other tests. Little did we know what the result of the tests would be. Only 3 1/2 years old, precious Willow was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL.
On March 31st Willow had surgery to place a port to be used for chemotherapy. Treatment began right away. When she was first diagnosed, she had fevers a lot, but she's handled the chemo well. She loves giving hugs and telling jokes to everyone that comes in to see her at the hospital. She is very bossy, but rarely complains. Her smile lights up a room and she has a kind heart.
She has a long road ahead, but with God taking care of her she will continue to stay strong. The overall plan is for 9 months of intense chemo with a total treatment time of 2 years.
