Tama's Story

Tama was diagnosed with Hypoxia injury at birth from Placental Abruption. He is now 3 years old and is the happiest boy you'll ever meet. He has a contagious smile that can light up a room.

When he was 18 months old he had to have a trach due to respiratory failure. He is GJ dependent and is fed a blended diet. He has had seizures since birth and takes medicine to control those. He is low tone and high tone in his limbs, but can high five and laugh. When you say cheese he smiles super big!! He is always laughing.

We do therapy every week, and do a lot of typical child stuff. He loves to go to the park and play with friends. He will be starting pre-school soon. He enjoys painting with his hands, fooling around on his mat and being read to.
